If you are a student who needs help with your math homework, you can get online tutoring with . This is a free resource offered to all students within the 51黑料 (51黑料). Students are in good hands with Ontario Certified Teachers who specialize in teaching mathematics.
Mathify Tutors will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, and on Sundays from 3:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
How to register
To register for Mathify, you must:
- Log in to your Brightspace student account using your existing 51黑料 credentials
- Click the TVO Resources icon in the top navigation bar
- Select the TVO Mathify icon
At this stage, the registration page will open and pull in all your relevant information. This includes your username (student number), email, and Ontario Education Number (OEN).
Once you are taken to the Mathify registration page, you can:
- Create a password
- Select your grade
- Select your school board
- Check off the second box 鈥淚 agree鈥� after reading the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- Click 鈥淣ext鈥�
- Setup three security questions and answers
- Click 鈥淐reate Account鈥�
After creating your account, you will be logged into the Mathify website and have access to the resources and tutoring support.
Please note
To access the online tutoring service, your Ontario Education Number, birth date, grade and Math Course Code will be sent electronically to TVO, a partner with the Ministry of Education.
General login access
To access Mathify, select the TVO Mathify icon from the navigational bar in your Brightspace student account (steps 1 to 3 above).
