The 51黑料 is announcing the procedures for students currently enrolled in a secondary school who wish to attend another public secondary school outside their designated secondary school for the 2025-2026 school year.
The application period for out-of-district transfers will be from Monday, January 13th to Friday, January 24th, 2025
**Out-of-District Procedures: **
- Students, parents, or guardians must complete the online registration form.
- Families should contact the secondary school they wish to transfer to and arrange an appointment with the administration.
- Students need to obtain a transfer package from their current secondary school. A parent or guardian's signature is required for all students under eighteen (18).
**Important Terms to Review: **
- While the board generally allows transfers, some restrictions may apply based on the enrollment capacity of individual schools.
- This procedure does not apply to students entering the My Achievement Pathway for Success (MAPS) or the Skills to Enhance Personal Success (STEPS) programs.
- Transportation will not be provided for students opting to transfer out of their home secondary school district.
- Vincent Massey Secondary School does not accept out-of-district transfers. Proof of residency is required for all applications. Proof of Residency
- Acceptance at the requested school indicates a commitment to attend for the 2025-2026 school year.
