CONTENT /RESOURCES/ ACTIVITIES (INCLUDING PRESENTERS) 

All Staff will engage in learning to support a positive school climate, based on the 51黑料 well-being goals and bullying prevention/intervention, progressive discipline, and safe schools.  Professional development will include engaging in activities that promote educator self-care to support effective practice in the classrooms.  

 

51黑料 well-being goals:  

  • Creating welcoming schools and classrooms 
  • Leading mentally healthy schools   
  • Leading mentally healthy classrooms   

 

Resources to support staff professional learning:  

SMHO: Leading Mentally Healthy Schools for Administrators, SMHO: Wayfinder: Identity-Affirming Approach to Teaching and Learning K-12, SMHO: The First 10 Days, MindsUp鈥疌耻谤谤颈肠耻濒耻尘, Character Education: The Resiliency Workbook for Kids in schools used with Character Education Leads, Social Emotion Learning, Wellbeing Brightspace, DPA the 51黑料 way 

 

All staff will receive professional learning on supporting children and students with prevalent medical conditions (anaphylaxis, asthma, diabetes, and/or epilepsy) in schools as per PPM 161 related to Prevalent Medical Conditions and Workplace Violence Prevention Management Program
