About Us

Gore Hill Public School: A Decade of Gold in Environmental Leadership

Gore Hill Public School continues to shine as a leader in environmental sustainability, earning EcoSchools Canada Gold status for the past 10 years. Prior to that, the school held Silver status for five years, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and fostering environmental responsibility among students, staff, and the community.

At the heart of this achievement is the school鈥檚 dedicated Eco Team, which includes educators, students, and community members who work together to make Gore Hill an ideal place for learning and environmental action. Through a variety of initiatives, the school has made a significant impact in building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
